Ipao-Ekiti, Ekiti State – The Commanding Officer of the Headquarters 148 Battalion of the Nigerian Army, Lt. Col. S.A. Inusa, paid a familiarization visit to Agbeyewa Farms, Ipao-Ekiti, today to assess the farm’s security arrangements and gain a deeper insight into its operations.
He was received by the Managing Director/CEO of Agbeyewa Farms, Mr. Oska Seyi Aiyeleso, and other management staff. The visit was part of the Army’s ongoing engagement with key stakeholders to enhance security collaboration and ensure a peaceful environment for agribusiness activities across the state.
In his welcome address, the Managing Director, Mr. Oska Seyi Aiyeleso, reaffirmed Agbeyewa Farms’ dedication to driving agricultural transformation in Ekiti State and beyond.
“Agbeyewa Farms will continue to strengthen partnerships that promote food security, youth empowerment, and rural development. Agriculture is a national service, and we are proud to contribute our part,” Aiyeleso stated.


Lt. Col. Inusa expressed satisfaction with the level of organization, security consciousness, and operational structure at Agbeyewa Farms.
“I am impressed by what I have seen here today. Agbeyewa Farms has demonstrated professionalism and commitment to food security. The Nigerian Army recognizes agriculture as a major contributor to national peace and economic stability,” Lt. Col. Inusa said.
Also speaking at the event, Alhaji Dauda Lawal, Director of Community Engagement, appreciated the kind gesture and support of the new Commanding Officer, describing the visit as a step toward greater cooperation and mutual understanding.
The Commanding Officer and his team later toured the farm’s facilities, interacting with staff and farmers during an inspection of ongoing farm operations.
