Agbeyewa Farms has reaffirmed its position as a trailblazer in agricultural innovation and food security with the presentation of its integrated cassava value chain model — a comprehensive approach that spans cultivation, processing, aggregation, and market access.
While In recognition of Agbeyewa Farms outstanding contributions to agricultural innovation and rural development, the company was honored with the Institutional Honorary Fellows Award by the Association of Nigerian Inventors (ANI) during the three-day event, held from October 26 to 28, that attracted experts, inventors, policymakers, and industry leaders from across Nigeria and beyond.
Delivering a keynote address titled “Optimizing the Cassava Value Chain for Food Security and Sustainable Economic Development,” the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Agbeyewa Farms, Mr. Seyi Oska Aiyeleso, underscored the transformative role of innovation and technology in agriculture. He noted that the Agbeyewa Model is a sustainable blueprint for building resilient food systems and empowering rural communities. He further called for stronger collaboration between government and the private sector to enhance productivity, drive economic growth, and ensure Nigeria’s food security.
The address which was delivered during the 3rd National Invention and Innovation Workshop & Exhibition (NIIWE 2025), organized by the Association of Nigerian Inventors (ANI) in partnership with the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) and the Oye City Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OYECCIMA).
With the theme, “Achieving Economic Development Through Invention and Innovation: Driving Food and Agricultural Security,” the workshop emphasized the role of creativity and science in addressing the nation’s developmental challenges.
